Privacy Policy
This policy explains what data Cryptochartics collects, why, who we share it with, and your rights. We try to keep it short, plain, and honest. If anything is unclear, email hello@cryptochartics.com.
Who we are
"Cryptochartics" (we / us / our) is the operator of the Cryptochartics mobile app (iOS + Android) and the website at cryptochartics.com. We provide a crypto intelligence layer that surfaces when 12 technical indicators and crowd sentiment disagree on a coin. We publish our own engine's measured accuracy openly. We are not a broker, not an exchange, not a financial adviser, and not a custodian of your funds.
What we collect
The honest summary: as little as we can, only what's needed to make the app work, and almost nothing about you as a person.

We do not collect: your name (unless you choose to give it), your physical address, your phone number, your contacts, your photos, your location, your browsing history outside the app, or any biometric data. The app does not contain advertising and does not include third-party advertising SDKs.
How we use it
- To run the core product — show you signal cards, deliver push notifications, sync your watchlist across devices.
- To deliver subscription benefits if you've paid for Pro or Max.
- To debug crashes and operational issues (logs are kept short and routinely deleted).
- To prioritise our roadmap (e.g. which coins to add next, which timeframes to support).
We do not use your data to train AI models, build behavioural profiles for advertising, or sell to third parties. Ever.
Who we share it with
Cryptochartics is a small operation. We do not have the resources or interest to build everything from scratch — we use a few well-known third-party services. Here's everyone who handles your data and why:

We do not share your data with anyone else, including no advertising networks, no analytics resellers, no data brokers.
Where your data lives
Your account data lives on Supabase's US infrastructure (currently AWS us-east-1). Our signal engine and landing page run on DigitalOcean's Frankfurt region (Germany, EU). When you use the app, network requests cross between these regions. If you are in the EU / UK / Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses for any transfer to the US.
How long we keep it
- Account record — for as long as you have an account. Delete it any time (see "Your rights" below).
- Watchlist + thresholds + notification settings — same as account.
- Push tokens — until your device unregisters or you sign out.
- Server logs — typically 30 days, longer only when investigating a specific incident.
- Signal data (the indicator readings themselves) — kept indefinitely; this isn't personal data, it's market analysis.
- Payment records — kept for as long as required by tax / accounting law in our operating jurisdiction (typically 5–7 years).
Your rights
Regardless of where you live, you can:
- Access the data we have about you — email hello@cryptochartics.com and we'll send a copy.
- Delete your account and associated data — same email; we'll process within 14 days.
- Correct anything inaccurate — most fields are editable in the app; for anything else, email us.
- Object to specific processing — email us and we'll discuss.
- Withdraw consent for things you opted into (push notifications, marketing email if any).
EU / UK / Swiss residents have additional rights under GDPR / UK GDPR / FADP — to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority, restrict processing, or request data portability. Email us first; we'll usually resolve things faster than the formal complaint route.
Children
Cryptochartics is not directed at anyone under 18. The app contains content about cryptocurrency markets that is unsuitable for minors and the Play Store listing is rated for an adult audience. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we'll delete it.
Cookies and tracking on the website
Our website at cryptochartics.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics scripts, and includes no third-party trackers. The only network requests it makes on page load are to Google Fonts (for the typography). We don't have a cookie banner because there's nothing to consent to.
Security
We use HTTPS everywhere, store passwords as random one-time codes (no persistent passwords to leak), apply database-level Row-Level Security on Supabase so your data isn't accessible by other users even if a token leaked, and follow standard server hardening on DigitalOcean. No system is perfectly secure; if you spot a vulnerability, email us at hello@cryptochartics.com and we'll respond promptly.
Changes to this policy
If we materially change how we handle your data, we'll update this page and bump the "Last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also surface an in-app notice the next time you open the app. Continued use after a change means you accept the new policy; if you don't, delete your account.
The honest version. We collect what we need to run the app, nothing more. We don't sell, advertise, or train AI on your data. The trade-off you're making by signing in is: we get your email so we can email you a sign-in code; you get cross-device sync and notifications. That's the deal.
